Yard Assistant required to join a well-established builders merchant based in Ringwood. The company are continuously growing and due to a busy period now require a Yard Assistant to join their friendly team.
The suitable Yard Assistant will hold a counterbalance forklift license and ideally have worked within a building materials/merchant or warehousing role previously. The successful Yard Assistant will be assisting customers, therefore good customer service skills is essential.
Yard Assistant Position Overview
Assisting customers in the yard
Using a forklift around the yard
Loading and unloading lorries
Keeping the yard tidy at all times
Complete other role related duties when they arise
Yard Assistant Position Requirements
Counterbalance Forklift license
Previously worked within a building materials/merchant/warehousing environment
Good customer service
Ability to work 1 / 2 Saturdays a month
Commutable distance to Ringwood, Hampshire

Competitive starting salary
Overtime available
Working hours 7:30am - 5pm (includes overtime)
22 days holiday
1 or 2 Saturdays a month
