Sheet metal worker/ fabricator welders required to work with a leading UK manufacturing organisation in Huddersfield. The company have a long history of producing high quality workmanship and outstanding products. The working environment is second to none, providing the opportunity to work within a friendly, clean and well-equipped workshop. Within the Sheet Metal Worker position, you will be responsible for the full fabrication and welding of bespoke fabrication units and machines.
Duties of the Sheet metal worker/ fabricator welder
Fabrication and sheet metal development of stainless steel , mild steel, aluminium and similar materials to produce high quality units
MIG and TIG welding and polishing of a variety of metals to a high standard
Experience and Qualifications required as a sheet metal worker/ fabricator welder
Experience in the field of Fabrication and Light gauge sheet metal, plus MIG/ TIG Welding with particular reference to Stainless Steel and mild steel
Able to work as part of a team.
Proven track record of a high standard of workmanship.
Apprentice trained / Level 3 qualification in Fabrication and Welding or equivalent.

A permanent position after a probationary period of 12 weeks
Days position Monday to Friday, working Hours 37-hour week with potential for overtime, Monday - Thursday 7.30am - 4.30pm, Friday 7.30am - 12.30pm
Pay: £11.50 - £13.25 PAYE, plus Overtime at a premium
