We Build Recruitment are currently looking for a Quantity Surveyor for our Client based out of their Dalgety Bay, Fife office.
Salary £55k + Car Allowance + Bonuses
You must:
- Be used to working on large scale construction projects
- Have a minimum 5 years experience working with a Regional or National Principal Contractor.
- Commercial control of various main-contract and sub-contract packages
Other responsibilities and duties include:
· Attending site surveys/scope of works meetings
· Commercial management of subcontractors
· Negotiation of final accounts
· Performing risk and value management and cost control
· Identifying, analysing and developing responses to commercial risks
· Preparing and analysing costing for tenders
· Tender adjudication and procurement of subcontractors
· Prepare and present project cost reports
· Valuing completed work and arranging payments with our Finance Team
· Maintaining awareness of the different building contracts in current use
