Working on developments between 9 and 40 unit sites.mixed between new build & refurb/conversions Our client is looking for a driven commercially aware QS with good negotiating skills and looking to work with a upcoming contractor
someone that has experience working under various types of project contracts, must be comfortable taking the lead from a commercial perspective for the business, must be good client facing.
order book for the business is around £20 million for this year they work in a capacity of Contractor and Developer.
Duties Include
• Working on new build residential developments
• Claims management from the client and subcontractors
• Assisting with the procurement process, ensuring that all stages including pre- qualification, enquiry, analysis, selection and contract preparation are performed effectively
• Cost checking and valuation work
• Production of monthly post-contract cost reports
• Negotiation and agreement of final accounts
