My client based in Cramlington are looking for a Quality Inspector to join the business. This is a permanent position to work for a very successful business with fantastic opportunities and benefits for the right candidate.
You will ideally come from an engineering background and be apprenticeship trained; previous experience with of working with CMM Machines, SIX Sigma experience, to a designated level and Minitab for statistical analysis would also be advantageous.
The ideal candidate would have the following:
Responsible for creating CMM programmes and measuring reports for all new product introduction
All aspects of CMM usage from programming to operation
Inspection of First Offs
Layout inspection reports
Participate in generic quality department tasks such as daily scrap runs and data entry into scrap systemEssential Skills & Requirements
Must be able to interpret engineering drawings
Must have general CMM operational skills and be versed in running established CMM programmes.
Must be open to working a 2-shift working pattern (dayshift and afternoon shift).
Must be available for weekend work and overtime when required to meet the needs of the business.
Must be self-motivated and have robust organisational skillsPreferred skills & Requirements
Offline CMM programming (without CAD models)
CMM programming, utilising CAD models.
