Purchasing Assistant Kingston upon Thames
Our client is looking for a dynamic and energetic Purchasing Assistant to join their fast-growing and award-winning company within the technology sector. The role is to manage the full purchasing order cycle, updating databases, producing reports, answering customer & operational queries.
Responsibilities of Purchasing Assistant:
Manage the full Purchasing order cycle.
Raising Purchase Orders on the system as per the details shared by the Buyer (product, quantity, price, lead time…)
Managing all PO details into the Goods in document
Managing all PO amendments during the Production time
Managing the communication of all the amendments
Managing Sales Team allocations
Monitoring and keeping updated tracking number.
Loading the stock into the system
Sending confirmation to receive invoice to the supplier.
Managing communication post-delivery with the couriers to ensure all Commodity codes are correct.
Contact point for the warehouse and the sales team
Managing and updating the Daily Hours & Priority Report for the warehouse
Managing and updating the Stock Due to be delivered and stock in the building report for the Sales Team.
Managing and updating Compliance report for the warehouse
Changing Compliance Product Status as per the warehouse confirmation
Create and Manage Product Codes & Details in Datafile
Updating monthly Stock Type - Check all stock codes are in the correct stock type.
Updating monthly MSPs - Check all stock codes have the correct MSPs.
Stock Take Administration support
Cross referencing intake rules data and determine Intake suitability of stock.
Managing Deal Sheets, Bid Lists and Job Trackers
Manging Stationery and Consumables Ordering for the business
