Project Coordinator - Spider are advertising on behalf of a highly successful world-class manufacturer of centrifugal pumps, based at Rendlesham, Suffolk.

Due to continued development, the company is seeking to recruit a dynamic Project Coordinator to strengthen its existing Projects Department and contribute towards the continued growth of its business.

This role will see the successful candidate managing the timely and accurate completion of key documentation throughout the contractual cycle of live sales projects within the business. There is both a proactive and reactive element to the role as well as a need to actively and effectively manage contracts to achieve critical milestones through proactive Customer engagement, video conferencing and active contract management.

Candidates will need to be competent and comfortable with coordinating the completion of key engineering documentation both within the company structure as well as via designated Customer contact points on multiple projects at any one time. Of key importance is the need to be organised, driven and able to influence the Customer's timely approval and acknowledgement of documentation and to ensure the projects are delivered on time. They will be required to assess aspects of technical and engineering documentation and either respond directly or manage the appropriate response on behalf of the company.

Previous experience of working within an operational contract department or equivalent would be beneficial, although this is not essential. Of high importance will be the ability to quickly influence and monitor project performance through the company's DMS (Document Management System) and ensuring key priorities are progressed by the Customer and company. There will be required a daily interaction between both Customers and the internal departments responsible for procurement, engineering, and manufacturing. Other significant skills and attributes required in this role include the importance of being planned, organised, and driven, with good routine monitoring skills and building relationships, as well as good communication and effective pro-active use of the telephone, video platforms and written communications. Full training and support will be provided.
