Nursery Worker - Level 3
We are looking for two experienced level 3 Nursery Practitioners to work in a fantastic setting in the Chelmsford area. Due to the location, you will need to have your own transport.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a newly opened company that offers a unique and innovative childcare service full of fun adventures and learning through investigation, exploration and play.
Monday - Friday shifts 7am- 5pm, 8am - 6pm, 7am- 7pm
40 hrs per week rota basis.
Salary upto £20,000 depending on experience and after successful completion of a 6-month probationary period.
Childcare and Education
Promote high standards of quality within the nursery in respect of the environment, resources and experiences offered to children.
Ensure the nursery is meeting the needs of all requirements of the early years foundation stage and report any concerns to management.
Support the children attending the nursery to receive rich and stimulating experiences appropriate to their age and stage of development.
Always supervise and support children.
Promote and facilitate partnerships with parents/carers and other family members.
Contribute to maintaining a welcoming environment full of wonder and awe.Planning and Development
Nursery Practitioners must attend regular nursery staff meetings at least every 4 - 6 six weeks which may be out of normal hours of work.
They are expected to attend relevant events, meetings, and training courses when necessary and required to by management.
Discuss any concerns about a child's development or wellbeing to management.Health and Safety
Adhere to all health and safety policy and procedures.
Adhere to all emergency and security procedures.General
Always show a positive attitude when around the children, staff, parents and visitors.
Where possible be available and present at all parent partnership events.
To maintain a strong self-cleanliness level and to wear the appropriate uniform.Due to the nature of the role an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check will be required.
