The Role of National Field Sales Manager, reporting to the UK Sales Director (UKSD) the National Field Sales Manager is responsible for business growth within specified National Accounts and Buying Groups plus Field Sales activity which includes the management of x5 Area Sales Managers and x1 Tele. Sales Executive.
Working with the UKSD to ensure the effective implementation of the UK sales strategy and area sales/account activities consistent with the overall aims and requirements of the Business.
Implement and develop account strategies in accordance with overall channel strategy, account goals and business plans for each customer as designated by the UKSD.
Monitor, record, analyze and report on activities, trends, results and recommendations relating to sales activities.
Participate, develop and contribute to bi-monthly sales meetings in conjunction with the ASMs, providing clear business reviews and explanations of future business strategies.
Ensure commitment to effective cross-departmental working, maintaining daily contact with colleagues within all functions of the business, esp. forecasting, purchasing, warehouse service levels and accounts.
Plan, coordinate and participate in all relevant tradeshow activities.
Prepare and submit relevant administration in a timely and accurate manner, for example, Monthly Sales Reports.
To be successful in this role of National Field Sales Manager, we would love to speak to anyone who has experience of:
Has success selling into Major Builders Merchants, Retail DIY or the garden industry or similar.
Has account management experience including key account level.
Had success with an Internal Sales Team Management experience.
Experience in setting and monitoring KPI's.
Valid Full UK Driving Licence
