Our client, a local authority near London, is looking for a Marketing Communications officer to join the team to work on a specific campaign. The initial contract is for 12 weeks but it may be rolled over.
Experience of developing, implementing and evaluating costed marketing plans and campaigns in support of an agreed marketing strategy.
Ability to demonstrate a thorough understanding of the role of marketing within an integrated communications and marketing team; the marketing mix; and how marketing has evolved in the digital world.
Practical knowledge of how the following can be used in marketing, with the willingness to receive further training in these and other skills: Data Analysis; Content Marketing; SEO; Influencer Marketing; Social Media; Audience Segmentation
Practical knowledge of methods to effectively evaluate marketing campaigns.
To be able to analyse and interpret a range of qualitative and quantitative marketing data to formulate and implement marketing plans based on this data
Excellent oral and written communication skills, with proven ability to create/edit engaging copy and artwork, simplify complex information, and understand how to use visual communication effectively.
