This organisation is looking for a Logistics/Scheduling Coordinator to join their established team. This position is due to expansion and growth within the division and is a key part of the organisation.
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the logistics of the regional engineering team and customer visits. Ensuring maximum efficiency and working time of the team.
A key part of the role is ensuring customers receive a premium level of service which includes a quick response time.
Coordinating the scheduling and assigning of reactive service calls, installations, deliveries, and preventative maintenance jobs including 3rd party engineers where necessary.
Management of follow-on visits to ensure they are promptly assigned with the Technical Helpdesk team to ensure outstanding issues are resolved.
Ensuring Customer SLAs are achieved ahead of time. Closely monitor the dashboard, to ensure Engineers are on schedule.
Coordinate delivery notes and install paperwork, checking back in procedure to ensure deliveries and jobs have been completed as required and Installation training notes completed and returned.
Manage engineers' time commitment through the day and communicating ahead of time to customers in cases of delay or if capacity for further work schedule in to ensure maximum efficiency from the day.
Manage engineers start time and activity, so they leave on time at the start of the day and have planned activity if they arrive back / finishing early.
Recording start times from Trackers onto their smart time sheets and highlighting any anomalies.
Ensure clear communication to engineers including accurate notes on jobs and communicating clearly as to difficult call cases or specific instructions.
Hotel bookings for overnight stays.
Coordinating and taking ownership of logistics queries from engineers including rescheduling routes in the event of unplanned absences
Attending internal meetings.
Good Geographical knowledge
Experience in route planning and scheduling- desirable
Clear and professional communication techniques
Strong personal organisation skills for example inbox and task management
Analytical, able to see the best way to prioritise.
Good judgement and able to make good decisions in limited timescales.
CRM experience- desirable.
