We have an opening for a Laboratory Scientist to join a medical devices organisation in Newcastle upon Tyne, on an initial 6-month Temporary contract.
This is a great opportunity to join an established team within a growing organisation, assisting the QC team with an array of Quality Control and Stability Studies.
Working from a state-of-the-art facility, you will:
* Assist the planning and preparation of laboratory activities, and ensure quality procedures are followed.
* Be required to complete tasks to agreed timescales, and work to find novel solutions to ensure continued improvement within the department.
* Carry out general lab and equipment maintenance
* Compile supporting QC documentation, and ensure procedures are accurately logged and recorded
Required Skills:
To be considered for the opportunity you will be an organised individual, who can work efficiently within a regulated environment. Ideally you will have a degree in the life sciences or equivalent experience of immunohistochemical procedures.
