Telecoms Junior Programme Manager, Chorley - Permanent
Are you looking for an exciting new challenge? We are currently recruiting for a Junior Programme Manager to join our expanding team. We would love to hear from you if you have previous experience working within telecoms or utilities.
You'll be working in a part of Telent that is dedicated to transforming the way support is delivered nationwide to Openreach and other external network providers. You'll receive formal training. - and on-the-job training where appropriate - to ensure you're up-skilled as technology develops along with E-learning schemes to help or refresh skills on-line.

Reporting to the Programme Manager, you will establish short and long-term programme objectives and ensure the team members meet those objectives. You will be responsible for monitoring programme progress and reports in regular meetings with senior managers and clients.
Develops regular budgets and schedules(daily/weekly/monthly/annually) to support the suppliers and direct labour workforce.
Creates and implements guidelines for evaluating the programme's strengths and areas where improvement is required.
Assigns tasks to team members to ensure project and programme objectives are completed as required.
Resolves higher scope problems with programme as they arise including jeopardy management.
Develop and control deadlines, budgets and activities and apply change, risk and resource management.
Monitors programme's progress and reports this in regular meetings with high-end managers and senior client stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills.
A good understanding of Microsoft Office packages, in particular Excel and Qlikview.
Have experience of managing multiple functions.
Able to build and maintain key relationships.
Management of key business projects.
