Job Role: Head of Information Security

Hours: 35 per week, Monday to Friday
As Head of Information Security, you will contribute to our vision of being the UK's favourite property manager by:
Leading on all aspects of Information Security, including contributing to the business strategy, company policies and processes
Inspiring and motivating all colleagues on Information Security awareness and ensuring ongoing compliance with externally recognised accreditations such as Cyber Essentials Plus
Managing Information Security incidents, investigating, stopping, resolving and ensuring greater preventative controls are in-place to further guard in the future.
This role reports to the Chief Digital Officer and has a small team of direct reports.
You are currently in a leading role in InfoSec such as a Head of Information Security, Information Security Manager, Cyber Security Manager, Security Lead Engineer or Information Security Architect
Being an expert in your field you have knowledge of Security Design and Architecture with an in-depth knowledge of Cloud Security and technologies. As well as excellent knowledge of security technologies: firewalls, SIEM, Network traffic analysis, WAF, AV, IPS, IDS, DLP, DDOS Prevention, Vulnerability Scanning, Identity Management, 2FA
You have experience of implementing NIST or similar frameworks, tools and systems (including evaluation and selection)
As an experienced project management, you have a proven track record of delivery and managing change, and you are an advocate for IT and Information Security standards.
As a natural leader and skilled communicator, you have the ability to liaise and influence with stakeholders at all levels.

Continuously evaluate the current IT landscape and provide recommendations for improvement, to new and existing solutions, technology processes.
Maintain and promote the use of our Information Security Management System and Framework
Report regularly on Information Security Posture to the Executive Board
Manage regular internal and external security testing and assurance services
Work with Legal and Compliance teams to ensure the highest levels of Data Protection
Internally lead the support work of audits from external bodies such as the FCA, to ensure ongoing industry accreditations and compliance
Provide technical guidance in the implementation of Information Security controls
