Offering a superb salary of £44,000 - £46,500 per annum plus a company car. Gatwick, London. This is a full time, permanent position.

Ensuring all new employees are trained and inducted appropriately at the earliest opportunity in line with Company Policy.
Ensuring probation periods are meaningful and reviewed on time, identifying any areas of concern early on and taking the necessary corrective or disciplinary action in line with Company Policy.
Ensuring attendance is regular and identifying and acting upon absences in line with Company Policy.
Being responsible for fair, professional and lawful recruitment practices within the area of responsibility, taking advice from the HR Team and the Regional Operations Manager, as appropriate.

Being responsible for any performance reviews the Company may adopt for employees in the defined area of responsibility.
Ensuring that regular meetings / toolbox talks take place with employees to encourage feedback and to share new ideas in a consistent manner.

SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED:
5 years' experience within a management / supervisory position.
Strong relationship building and influencing skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
You will hold a Certificate of Professional Competence.
Previous Waste experience.
Confident communicator, both written and verbal, with employees and customers.
Computer and IT literate
Possess a sound working knowledge of current, and any upcoming, legislation that may affect the Company's business i.e., health & safety, EU Drivers Hours and Goods Vehicles Operating Licensing and a good understanding of Employment Law.
Good geographical knowledge of the operational area covered by the Depot.
