Due to the internal promotion of the person who previously held this position, we're looking for a hungry and ambitious Business Development Manager to join our team, based at our head office in the centre of Altrincham. This role has excellent opportunities for development.
Job Type: Full Time / Permanent.
Location: Altrincham, Greater Manchester (Town centre office, excellent transport links)
Salary: £26,000 - £30,000 basic salary + Uncapped bonus (1st year OTE in excess of £35,000)
Hours: 8.30am - 5.30pm Monday - Thursday & 8.30am - 5.00pm on a Friday.

Business Development Manager- What's The Role?
Reporting directly in to our Managing Director, you'll be our sales lead, responsible for identifying and approaching businesses that would benefit from our suite of services, whether that's our recruitment advertising campaigns, our alternative to a traditional recruitment agency approach or even a bespoke headhunting project.
You will identify and introduce yourself to key decision makers within businesses, understanding their unique recruitment challenges and assessing whether they have a requirement for our support. You'll then build a solution that will add value, introducing the benefits to the customer and close the deal.
Once closed, you'll then liaise with our Client Success team to ensure the customer is onboarded effectively, following up to ensure each account is developed, maximising upsell and cross sell opportunities for Hiring Wizard and the wider group.
Business Development Manager- Skills & Experience Requirements
We're looking for someone who already understands what is required to be a success in a B2B sales role. That means 2-3 years+ and a good track record of closing new business opportunities and / or developing accounts.
You'll show creativity and dynamism, exploring new ways to reach decision makers via phone, email and social media. You'll be well spoken and confident, able to hold your own in a conversation with CEO's, business directors and heads of department.
Ideally, you'll have knowledge of the digital advertising and / or recruitment industries and you'll be able to put together benefits led proposals.
