RICS accredited, Certified Historic Building Professionals, Corporate Members of the Association of Project Safety and more, this dedicated group of experienced and highly qualified group of professionals are known for their levels of quality and service throughout all instructions.
Reporting into the Associate Director of the Building Surveying team, and working with two other building surveyors, your key responsibilities and areas of development will include:
Planned maintenance surveys,
Schedules of condition and dilapidations,
Party wall matters,
Landlord's representative in relation to tenants fit-out and alteration works.The rewards
This employer offers a competitive salary, with £30-35K salary bench-marked for candidates within 12 months of their APC. In addition to this they will provide structured APC support, ensuring you have a strong case study for your sitting and are comfortable with all core competencies prior to assessment.
Your professional fees will be covered by the business and regular CPD courses will be arranged for you to keep you as informed and knowledgeable as possible.
Along with the above you will be able to work on a wide range of interesting instructions and projects, from commercial dilapidations and fit-out projects to surveying heritage properties for conservation purposes and everything in between.
you will also be enrolled on a company pension, provided with 25 days of annual leave and be provided with a fuel allowance of 45p per mile for business purposes.
To be successful in your application you will need to be an APC enrolled Building Surveyor with an RICS accredited degree in Building Surveying (Bachelors or equivalent level).
You will need a solid building pathology foundation including an understanding of structural defects and the ability to carry out full building surveys with limited supervision.
Strong AutoCAD skills and experience submitting planning applications are essential requirements for this position.
You must also hold a full and valid UK driver's license, and have access to a vehicle.
