A fantastic opportunity for an Assistant Branch Manager to be part of a growing and stable business. The successful candidate will be responsible for collaborating with staff members to help all parties achieve sales and gross profit targets. This is full time, permanent opportunity working 7.30 -4.30 Monday - Friday and 1 in 3 Saturdays 7.30am - 11.30am. Offering a competitive salary for the successful individual.
THE ROLE AS AN ASSISTANT BRANCH MANAGER:
To sell roofing products to roofing contractors/general builder/retail customers
To achieve your sales and GP targets in line with the agreed budgets
To collaborate with all staff to achieve all parties' budgets/objectives.
Serving customers to the highest standards on collection and deliveries
Educate yourself and the sales teams on new and emerging roofing products.
Leading by example, by creating new business opportunities /accounts
Keeping up to date with products and competitors' prices
To offer the highest level of customer service to existing and new accounts
Following admin/finance and IT systems procedure
To achieve your sales target set out by your line managers.
Collaborate with the transport team on all deliveries.
Communicate with your customers on delivery times and schedules.
Manging a small team to of people to perform to their highest standards.
SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED:
Plumbing and roofing experience / knowledge of products.
Experience of managing a team.
Ability to drive sales.
Flexible with business requirements.
