Job Title: Additive Manufacturing / 3D Printing Technician.

Salary: £21,000 Basic Salary with overtime and shift allowance you have the potential to earn £30,000 p/a

The role will be initially a DAYS role (Week 1 shift pattern below) however applicants must be flexible to work a rotating shift pattern, please below;
Week 1 -
Monday to Thursday 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.,
Friday - 5:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.,
Monday to Thursday 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.,
Friday - 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.,
25% shift allowance on afters
Paid Overtime (Mon Fri, Time and a Third), (Saturday, Time and a Half) and (Sunday, Double Time)
Daily operation of 3D printing machine and part production
Top up of machine / process consumables.
Machine health monitoring, recording and reporting
Ensure 3D printing machine is clean and ready to start the build as and when required.
On completion of build, remove printed parts from machine and clean / vacuum parts to required quality standard.
Dispose of any unwanted materials.
Process parts ready for despatch to customer.
Conduct testing on sample parts from each build.
Required Skills & Experience
While candidates with existing 3D printing / additive manufacturing experience would highly welcome we are also keen to hear from those with a background operating similar machinery (e.g., CNC) or from recent graduates that have worked with 3D Printers within their studies and are looking for a role within industry.
A Genuine interest in 3D Printing / Additive Manufacturing
Ability to understand technical products and properties
Can write and produce reports/feedback.
Must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings and can understand dimensioning and tolerancing
